Product Description
Thank you for viewing our listing. This is a 5 ft Double Pole Ballet Barre. The Barre is designed for Home or Studio use. It measures 60" Tall and 39" High. The rails are made of premium Oak for durability and lasting strength and are 1 1/4" thick. The Oak rails are flush with the tubing so the entire length of the Barre can be used. The frame is made of .12 gauge structural steel and weighs approximately 20 lbs, light enough to move but heavy enough to keep it from sliding when in use. It assembles and dis-assembles quickly for easy storage. The only assembly required is attaching the lower portion of the legs. Specifications: Measure 60"x39" 1 1/4" Oak Rails .12 Gauge Fabricated Steel Frame Weight 20 lbs.

3 out of 5 stars A little disappointed   June 24, 2008

We are a little disappointed by this purchase. The connections between the barres and the legs aren't very sturdy. We have had to tighten the screws several times. I'm afraid to tighten too much for fear of stripping the wood. One leg keeps twisting, we will have to make repairs or modifications to it to make it stay in place. The base of the legs aren't wide enough or something because it will tip over if my daughter leans into her stretches very much. I would not recommend this item for a serious ballerina.
